I want to take this opportunity to say Happy Valentine’s Day to you. What a special day to express love to our loved ones and let them know how much we appreciate them. You are so dear to my heart and I love and appreciate everything you do for our Lord Jesus Christ and our church... Our awesome and mighty God sent His greatest love to us by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to be our Savior and Lord to die on the cross for our sins so that we could spend eternity with Him. God’s Word tells us to pass this love on to everyone everywhere. Let’s be believers of His Word!

     Upward Basketball is in full swing! There is still time for you to volunteer. Call Mike King, Shelia Gardner, or Dan Snyder. It is never too late to sign up your child to play basketball or to be a cheer leader.

     The Passion Play … The dates are on the church calendar for March 30 – April 1, and April 6-7. There will be six performances this year. March 30-31 at &7:00 p.m. and April 1, a Sunday matinee at 3:00 p.m. The following week of April 6-7 at 7:00 p.m. with a Saturday matinee at 3:00 p.m. We need every church member to be involved. And the best way to begin is through prayer. .God bless you in what you will do for Him. God has a place for you to serve.

     The Senior Saints February outing is to Ryan’s near Biltmore Square Mall on Friday, February 24^th. Church vans will leave at 11:00 a.m. We have reserved a room to celebrate birthdays and remember Valentine’s Day. Pam Tegge, will be our guest speaker. After lunch we will walk and window shop at the Mall. The Health Adventure is housed in the mall. If you like to go through it, the cost is $7.50.

     The Caswell Senior Adult Retreat is October 15-18. Reservations are now being accepted for this retreat on Oak Island. A deposit of $25.00 is now due. We have secured rooms in the Conference Center facing the Cape Fear River and the ocean. The total cost of the trip is $187.00. Please don’t miss it!
