The first month of 2012 is almost gone and in the history books! Wow! Only eleven months to go and this year will be over. How are you dong on those New Year’s resolutions?

     People who study these kinds of things report that after the first 45 days of a new year most resolutions have failed.

     In the Christian life being steadfast is an important quality. The Psalmist writer in Psalm57:7 “My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast.” Steadfast means: firm in belief; determination or adherence, loyal, faithful. The apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians (and to us), “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

      In 2012 may we all be found steadfast in witnessing, praying, attending, giving, serving, loving and being on mission with our Christ!
